The next scheduled City of Longview General Election will be May 10, 2014. The May 10 General Election will include City Council District 3.
A Certification of Unopposed Candidate for City Council District 4 has been presented to the Mayor and Council. Naming the unopposed Candidate, Kristen Ishihara the Council Member for District 4.
May 10 General Election Voting:
Election Day voting will take place from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Early voting hours for May 10 General Election:
Monday, April 28 - Friday, May 2 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 3 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Monday, May 5 - Tuesday, May 6 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All early voting is conducted in the lobby of City Hall located at 300 W. Cotton St.
Candidate Filing Information:
First day for filing application for a place on the City of Longview City Council Districts 3 and 4 General Election will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014 ending February 28, 2014. The last day for a regular write-in candidate to declare candidacy for the General Election is February 28, 2014.
The City Secretary's office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
