Partners in Prevention

Partners in Prevention addresses community barriers by inspiring hope, connecting partners, and building trusting relationships that transform lives.

Partners in Prevention strives to include all sectors of the community in creating a better Longview through community mobilization, collaboration, and community coalitions. Partners in Prevention offers multiple opportunities for volunteers and community members to come to the planning table, and engage with others, to address community barriers of poverty, race relations, underage drinking, marijuana use, and prescription drug abuse. Partners in Prevention also offers one-to-one mentoring relationships with elementary, middle, and high school students in the greatest need with caring adult mentors. Through volunteer service, open and engaging dialogue, education and information, and community involvement the goals of our mission are being reached.
