The Longview Police Department is a progressive law enforcement agency that is always in search of highly qualified, highly motivated employees. The department has many great opportunities for those wishing to be police officers.
We are currently accepting applications for officers starting at $55,610. All applications need to be completely filled out, including work history, education, and contacts with Law Enforcement. After submitting the application, only qualified applicants will receive an invitation for testing by email.
We are committed to working with our citizens to address those issues which affect the quality of life in our community. Programs such as our neighborhood and business crime watch groups, Citizens Police Academy, and our Citizens on Patrol illustrate our commitment to making the City of Longview a safe community to live, work, and visit.
