You may pay your City of Longview utility bill by mail using a personal check, cashiers check, or money order. Please detach your payment coupon from your bill and include it with your payment. Please do not staple, fold, or tape checks to the payment coupon. Please allow 3 - 4 days for mailing and processing.

A payment return fee of $30 will be assessed to your utility account if payment is returned to the department by the bank. The reasons for a payment may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- insufficient funds
- closed or frozen bank account
- stop payment requested at the bank
- unauthorized payment reported by bank or cardholder
- fraudulent or suspicious activity reported by bank or cardholder
- incorrect account and/or routing numbers
Notice: Electronic check conversion
When you provide a check as payment, you authorize us to either use information from your check to make a 1-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. As such, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day we receive your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.
