Tire Recycling

The City of Longview Recycling Division hosts tire recycling two times per year as part of Longview Clean and Green. The events are held on the second Saturday of April and the second Saturday of November at the Lear Park softball parking lot, 100 H.G. Mosley Pkwy. There is no charge for this service and it is open to the public.

City staff will be available to assist with unloading. This service is free for Longview residents and is available for non-commercial users only. Participants must bring a Longview water bill to show proof of residency.

The event is a combined effort between Keep Longview Beautiful and the City of Longview Sanitation and Recycling Divisions. Proper tire disposal is critical to the health and safety our community. Among several potential hazards, unused tires collect water and become breeding sites for mosquitoes. Citizens are encouraged to use this opportunity to discard unwanted tires at no charge.

This event is not in conjunction with extra trash pickup for large items, limbs, etc. The City of Longview provides two Tire Recycling Days throughout the year.
