Partners in Prevention addresses community barriers by inspiring hope, connecting partners, and building trusting relationships that transform lives.
The Longview City Council selects members of the Partners in Prevention Steering Committee to provide guidance to staff about programming, approve expenses, and serve as advocates for community initiatives. Through involvement of the entire community, we are working to create an environment in which young people can grow up healthy, responsible and drug-free.
Partners in Prevention sponsors the Coalition for Drug-Free Youth, Longview Bridges Out of Poverty, Aspire Mentoring Program, and Unity and Diversity Committee, and sponsors/co-sponsors annual events such as Red Ribbon Week and National Night Out.
