Throughout the years, Partners in Prevention has been nominated and received both state and national awards and recognition for their various programs. It is an honor to have the work of Partners in Prevention and community volunteers recognized by entities outside the Longview area. These awards and recognition have come from such agencies and organizations as America’s Promise Alliance for 100 Best Communities for Young People in 2008 and 2011; National League of Cities; Texas Association of Partners in Education (TAPE); the Office of the Governor; and National Town Watch Association.
