Longtime and remembered friend, Rhonda Barnes, nominated Partners in Prevention’s Forever Friends Mentoring Program to receive the Texas Association of Partners in Education for Outstanding Community Partnership in a Small District award. Rhonda was not only an advocate for Pine Tree ISD student, but for all children. She wanted to see children succeed. She recognized that Forever Friends provided the additional adult support that girls often need during adolescence and teen years.
