National Night Out was introduced by the Town Watch Association in 1984 to draw awareness at the community level about the importance of crime prevention. This national crime prevention event strengthens neighborhood relations and police/community relations.
Longview participates in National Night Out each year with an average of over 100 parties in and around the Longview area. Due to the great turnout, Longview consistently ranks among the best in our population category.
