The City Secretary's office issues Alcoholic Beverage Licenses to the retail businesses in Longview as well as the Solid Waste Permits for commercial and industrial solid waste removal.

Driver License

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) issues all Texas driver licenses. In Longview, the DPS office is located at 416 Lake Lamond Rd., Longview, TX 75604.

Birth and Death Certificates

Birth and death records are issued by the respective county in the state of Texas. Here's a couple of helpful links for Gregg County:
Please note: the City Secretary's Office does NOT issue driver licenses or birth certificates. Driver licenses are issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety located at 416 Lake Lamond Road. Birth Certificates are issued by the respective county, not the City of Longview.
