Belly Dance, or Middle Eastern Dance, is a beautiful way of expressing yourself through movement. Participants of all age and ability ranges are able to participate at their own pace and learn the different moves and rhythms. In addition to learning a new dance style, participants begin to notice increased strength and tone to their muscles which can lead to increased balance and coordination.
Two sections of the class are offered providing participants an introduction to the art of belly dance and an advanced class which teaches more in depth technique. To make the most of your class, come dressed comfortably and ready to have fun!
This class is generally offered to those over 18 years of age, but teens may also participate if they are in the company of their parents or legal guardian.
This class is offered at Panther Park Community Center, 200 George Richey Road.
