2nd Watch Patrol Lieutenant

Lieutenant Lloyd Littlefield began his career with the Longview Police Department in October, 1976. Prior to joining the Longview Police Department, Lieutenant Littlefield worked as a police officer for the Stephen F. Austin University Police Department while also attending the university. During his career in Longview, Lt. Littlefield has been assigned to duties in a variety of areas as an officer, supervisor, and commander. These assignments carried increasing levels of responsibility and include budget preparation, training and recruiting, internal affairs, records, communications, uniform patrol, and criminal investigations. In his current assignment, Lt. Littlefield is responsible for the law enforcement activities associates with the Departments' 2nd watch, or day shift patrol.

Lt. Littlefield received his Bachelors' Degree in Criminal Justice from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He is a graduate of the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Institute of Texas.
