PAR Beat 50

JeffHallOfficer Jeff Hall grew up in Tyler and Graduated from Robert E Lee and attended Tyler Junior College. Officer Hall started his law enforcement career in February 2000. Prior to coming to work for Longview Police Department, he worked as a Patrol Officer, K-9 Officer and was assigned to a multi-county Drug Task Force as a Narcotics Investigator. Officer Hall joined the Longview Police Department in November 2008 and served in patrol for three years prior being chosen to be the Beat 50 Police Area Representative. Officer Hall holds an Advanced Peace Officer License and Instructor Certificate, and a Crime Prevention Specialist Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).

Officer Hall is the Departments liaison with the community in the Beat 50 area. His duties include the implementation of neighborhood improvement projects including Neighborhood Crime Watch and Citizens on Patrol. Officer Hall is responsible for supporting and aiding Beat supervisors within the Beat and administering the department’s crime prevention programs, while maintaining a partnership with other community organizations and agencies. Officer Hall promotes crime prevention by developing programs in support of the “Community Relations Action Plan” that addresses the community’s needs.

Officer Hall is a member of the Longview Police Department Bike Team, Honor Guard and is the treasurer of the East Texas Crime Prevention Association. Officer Hall is also an active board member for Longview Teen Court and Chairman of the Longview Police Department Benefit Association.
