How Do I...

...get a Library Card?

It's easy! If you're over 18 years old and a Texas resident, simply bring a valid ID with your current address to the Library at your convenience. Learn more about getting your Library Card!

...donate materials to the Library?

To donate materials, simply bring them to the back of the library where our loading dock is located. Place items on the palette/cart near our back door entrance, preferably in a strong cardboard box if there are a lot. PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ITEMS IN OUR BOOK RETURN DROPS/BINS. If you need assistance with unloading donations, please call (903) 237-1350 to let us know.

...volunteer at the Library?

Our volunteers are a vital component of everything we do at the Library, and we are so thankful for them! To get approved to become a Longview Public Library volunteer, download and complete a Library Volunteer Application, then bring it into the Library at your convenience. We'll review your application and contact you for a follow up.

...request an item the Library does not have?

Interlibrary Loan is a FREE service that allows Library patrons to request books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, and documents that the Longview Public Library does not currently own! Learn more about Interlibrary Loan.

...use a Library computer?
