Housed in a 55,000 square foot facility, the Main Branch of the Longview Public Library has 150,000 items, 54 computers, free Wi-Fi, and friendly staff to help meet your information needs.

How We Purchase Materials: 

Click here to review our Collection Development Policy, developed by Library staff to inform and guide the Library’s selection of materials. This Policy was updated and approved October 1, 2016. The Longview Public Library practices “patron–driven acquisition," meaning we buy what patrons ask for, as outlined in our Collection Development policy. 

Book Drop: 

Our Book Drop is located behind the Library building. It is always open, with the exception of 3-day holiday weekends, when it is closed. 

Computers:


The Library has 54 computers available for free public use as defined by our policy. Printers are available with color copies (75¢
per page) and black and white (25¢ per page). Free Wi-Fi is available during regular business hours.
