Volunteers make a difference!

We rely on the hard work, love, and commitment of our community!

While Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center (LACAC) has a crew of staff members who are dedicated to the overall care and wellbeing of the animals in our facility, we are always encouraging members of our community to join our volunteer program.

Volunteers are the biggest help when it comes to providing enrichment for our animals here at LACAC. Enrichment is the process of providing animals with some form of stimulation in order to encourage natural behaviors that help to improve or maintain their physical and mental health. This ensures keeping the cats and dogs happy and healthy for adoption!

This time spent with the animals helps with their adoptability and eases the transition into a new home. Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of LACAC's mission.
