The focus of the Homeless Resource Day is for attendees to actually receive services or be able to actively enroll in programs. Those entities that are not able to directly provide service are encouraged to volunteer.
Booths are available:
Standard booth size is 10’ wide x 10’ deep and includes one 8’ table and two chairs.
Service Focus:
Education, Employment, Health & Wellness, Food and Nutrition, Housing, Finance, and Social Services.
The Homeless Resource Day is a collaborative effort of the City of Longview and various non-profit organizations to help meet the needs of the homeless.

Goal:
In one day, a person experiencing homelessness can find / enroll in / receive services that would otherwise take months to secure. Corporations, nonprofits and government agencies provide participants with services. Potential / preferred services include but are not limited to: distribution of hygiene kits, dental care, eyeglasses, haircuts, showers, laundry, housing information, food, personal care products, Veteran’s services, medical care, mental health services, SSI benefits, legal advice, Texas identification cards, employment counseling / job placement, and veterinary services (vaccinations) for pets of the homeless.
