Located at Ingram Park, the Dodson Action Sports Complex was constructed on the former tennis courts. The amenity is the result of a public-private partnership in which the City of Longview provided $40,000 funds to match the amount raised by community volunteers. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Longview City Council approved of naming the facility the Dodson Action Sports Complex in honor of Brian Dodson who led the volunteer and fundraising effort. Learn more about the project on the volunteer group's Facebook page.
