The City of Longview, Partners in Prevention’s Unity and Diversity Committee, will host “Longview Listens,” with guest speaker Rory Steyn from South Africa. Rory will speak on racial reconciliation through his personal experience and presentation, “Stories of Hope and Reconciliation.” Longview Listens is a community event that creates a safe environment for honest and open dialogue.
As a police officer, Rory served as the bodyguard of former South African President Nelson Mandela nationally and internationally. Rory is a leader and recognized for his extensive experience in security and personal protection. He currently serves as the CEO of Africa Operations for National Security Agency (NSA) Global Security Consultants.
Rory is an internationally recognized security specialist, speaker, and commentator who regularly presents at conferences worldwide.
Donations will be accepted as a gift to Rory Steyn for his service.
