The Longview Police Department School Resource Unit will host its annual Explorer Academy at Spring Hill Junior High School.
Training includes:
- Traffic Stops
- Crime Scene Investigation
- Robbery Investigation
- Burglary Investigation
- Firearm Safety and Competition
The academy will be a five full days of hands-on, police style training. There is no cost for cadets. Cadets will receive an Academy T-Shirt, and lunch will be provided daily. To attend, the cadet must be 14 years or older, graduated the 8th grade, and under the age of 21.
