[ARCHIVED] Virtual Patriotic Story & Music Time

The Longview Public Library will be a part of the city’s virtual July 4 celebration!
Families are invited to join library staff at 10:30 AM on July 4 via the Longview Public Library Facebook page as patriotic themed books are read aloud & songs are played.
You can even make our patriotic crafts at home!
Limited supply kits will be available for pickup at the library beginning June 30.

Other virtual events to attend include the Virtual Talent Stage sponsored by Partners in Prevention, and the Longview Unity & Diversity Committee
Vote for your favorite performance on July 4 by liking the videos that will be posted on the Longview Unity & Diversity Committee’s Facebook page!

Plus, there will be a Virtual Patriotic Pet Fashion Show with Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center.
Submit a video of your animal friends in their outfits via the Patriotic Pet Fashion Show Application:

The Longview Fireworks and Freedom Celebration presented by Jucys Hamburgers, T. Blanco’s, and Jucys Taco will be a drive-in fireworks show only, starting at 9:30 PM.
Gates open at 7:00 PM, and food trucks and portable restrooms will be available.
The festival portion of the event, including the Live Main Stage, vendors, and carnival rides is canceled for 2020.

For those unable to attend, the fireworks show will be streamed live at the City of Longview’s Facebook and The Longview Convention Complex’s Facebook.
