On Sept. 20, 2020 about 12 a.m. the Longview Fire Department responded to 904 Sixth St. for a reported structure fire. Crews arrived to find fire in the “pit area” of the Bodacious Bar-B-Q restaurant. The fire was quickly brought under control but not before spreading into the attic of the building. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The Longview Fire Department responded with three fire engines, two ladder trucks, one ambulance and four support vehicles for a total response of 21 personnel.
