On November 22, 2020 at approximately 10:20 p.m. the Longview Fire Department responded to 106A Cherie Lane for a reported residential structure fire. Crew arrived and found fire coming from the roof of 106A and 106B, which shared a common attic. The fire was quickly brought under control but not before causing heat damage to 108 Cherie Lane as well. The residents were home at the time of the fire and were able to escape without injury. The fire is believed to have started from discarded smoking material.
The Longview Fire Department responded with 3 fire engines, 2 ladder trucks, 1 ambulance and 4 support vehicles for a total of 21 personnel.
