[ARCHIVED] LPD Respond to Shooting

On September 29, 2015 at 3:53 a.m., Longview Police were dispatched to a shooting just occurred in the 100 Block of West Pliler Street. When officers arrived they found the victim and determined he had been shot in the neck. He was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to officer arrival. Police are following up on information they have received about the shooting at this time. If anyone has information on this shooting they are asked to call Longview Police at 903-237-1199 or Gregg County Crimestoppers at 903-236-7867.
