[ARCHIVED] Longview Police Search for Driver in Fatal Hit and Run

On October 8, 2015 at 7:49 p.m., Longview Police were dispatched to a Hit and Run with Injuries in the 1000 Block of Young Street. When Officers arrived they were told a green, older model Ford Crown Victoria was traveling westbound on Young Street. As the driver of the car turned to travel North on Martin Luther King Boulevard the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck the West side of the store causing significant damage to the building. The driver of the car then backed the car up and continued to travel North on MLK. A passenger in the vehicle attempted to exit the vehicle as it sped away northbound on MLK. It appears the victim may have fallen from the vehicle near the 400 Block of MLK Boulevard sustaining serious injuries. Officers searched the area and located the vehicle in an empty lot a short distance from the crime scene. Officers are attempting to identify the other occupants of the vehicle who had fled the scene prior to police locating the vehicle.
The victim, identified as Aaron Jacolby Morrow 19, of Longview, was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
