[ARCHIVED] DANO - Children's singer/songwriter Performance

A cartoon bear in all blue poses and plays a guitar. Children's singer and songwriter DanO.

Meet us at the Longview Arboretum for an outdoor performer show every Wednesday throughout Summer Reading Club!

This week’s performer: Children’s singer/songwriter: DANO!

After spending many years as a teacher by day and musician by night, Dano's students asked him to write some songs just for them.
This led to shows at schools, libraries, and other events throughout the DFW area.

For school and library shows, Dano likes to add an educational element by telling short stories about the songs and why he wrote them.

He also likes to involve his audience by asking questions that pertain to the songs, and he usually follows every concert with a question and answers section.

Dano will join us on June 9, at 10:30 AM as our first performer!

• This is an IN-PERSON EVENT.
• Dress cool, and bring water!

You’re welcome to park at the arboretum’s main entrance and walk to the amphitheater, but we recommend you enter through the Longview Convention Complex’s west gate entrance for a shorter trek.
Yard signs will be posted to follow, but it will be like you’re heading to Maude Cobb where we’ve hosted past SRC events.

In the event of any rain/weather, performance will move online to our main FB page, via FB Premiere.

FREE to attend, all ages.
Please call (903) 237-1345 for any questions.
