Black History Month at the library will start with our Topic Panel Discussions: “History Made Through Collective Black Voices.”
And we have a robust panel this year!
- Dr. Meredith May - The 1919 Project
- Dr. Arthur Brown - Integration
- Corletia Dunlap Banks - The Ancestry and Life of Ned E. Williams
- Esther Pippins - Spade Work
- Pamela Buchanan - Author's book preview/discussion
- Jai’Colby’E Kirvin - Authors's book preview/discussion
Each will offer a unique, individual topic (stay tuned to find out more on these) for you to learn about and help round out your Black History knowledge!
Panel will be held in the Library Moeschle Meeting Room on February 5, starting at 2:00 PM.
It’s FREE to attend. All ages are welcome.
We hope you’ll join us!
