The Partners in Prevention Aspire Mentoring Program is seeking caring adult volunteers to serve as mentors to help make a positive difference in the lives of area youth in grades kindergarten through high school. Volunteers must attend two and half hours of training followed by a criminal history background check and personal reference checks.
A New Mentor Orientation is scheduled on Feb. 23, from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. (lunch provided) and will fulfill the required training as the first step of becoming a mentor. Please call 903-237-1019 to register or receive more information about becoming a mentor.
Currently, the mentoring program is available in the Longview, Pine Tree, Spring Hill, Hallsville, Kilgore, and White Oak Independent School Districts.
