[ARCHIVED] Unity and Diversity Committee Seeks Nominations

The City of Longview Partners in Prevention’s Unity and Diversity Committee is accepting applications for the 12th Annual Unity Honors Luncheon set for Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, November 13 and can be submitted online at http://LongviewTexas.gov/UnityHonors or picked up and returned to the following locations: Partners In Prevention Office, 140 E. Tyler St.; Longview Public Library, 222 W. Cotton St.; Longview City Hall, 300 W. Cotton St.; and Broughton Recreation Center, 801 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The Unity Honors Award is a life time achievement award that pays homage to individuals in the community who have demonstrated leadership in the promotions of harmony, understanding, and social justice. Nominees must be individuals who work and/or live (past or present) in the Greater Longview Area.
