On November 19, 2015 at 6:27 p.m., Longview Police and the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Longview SWAT team and Department of Public Safety (DPS) Special Response Team, served 3 narcotic search warrants on two motel rooms and a residence in Longview. Two of those warrants were served on two separate rooms at the American Dream Inn motel located at 2015 East Marshall Avenue. The third warrant was served on a house located at 610 ½ Harrell Street. During the search of these locations officers were able to recover a large quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, and assorted pills with a street value of over $6700. Police also located 3 handguns, 1 shotgun, and numerous rounds of what appear to be armor piercing ammunition. One person, identified as Charshon Tarez Rollins 41, of Winona, was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Man/Del CS PG 1 >=4G<200G (X2), Probation Violation for Assault Family Violence, and another Smith County Warrant for Assault Family Violence. Rollins was transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident.
