On September 13, 2022, at approximately 12:15 p.m. the Longview Fire Department responded to 307 Rowe Ave. for a reported residential structure fire. When fire crews arrived they found heavy smoke and fire conditions with coming out of the garage. There was one person home at the time of the fire, and he was able to escape without injury. The majority of the fire damage was contained to the garage and attic above the garage with heat and smoke damage to the rest of the structure. There were no reported injuries and the estimated damage to the structure is approximately $150,000.00.
The Longview Fire Department responded with 3 fire engines, 2 ladder trucks, 1 ambulance and 4 support vehicles for a total of 21 personnel
