Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15 by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
The Longview Unity & Diversity Committee and the City's Office of Arts and Culture are celebrating the month with planned activities including:

"Spiritual Expressions in Latin America" art exhibit at the LMFA - Longview Museum of Fine Arts. Reception and Gallery Talk on September 15 at noon.
