Mark you calendars and drop by the library for another year of local holiday CHEER!
We’ll be hosting our 3rd annual Library Cheermeister Party on December 8, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
We always get the question: “What is a cheermeister?”
It's someone with the most exemplary, most yuletide, most festive Christmas attitude there is.
Combine that with the spirit of the Longview community, and you get the ultimate holiday party!
Your favorite City of Longview departments and Arts!Longview groups will help set up an assortment of crafts, goodies, games, and activity stations outside on the plaza for families to participate in.
Each of them will be decorating their booths and competing for the Cheermeister Spirit Stick (and holiday bragging rights) awarded at the end of the event.
So be sure to cheer them on!
Local food trucks will be parked nearby for you to grab a tasty snack while you enjoy the festivities.
There will be special performances throughout the evening, including:
- A Christmas Story Time with Santa Flavious and his magical elves.
- Favorite holiday songs performed by the East TX Symphonic Band’s saxophone quartet.
* Check back for more performer announcements as we finalize the schedule.
If you were interested in performing for the evening, please contact us at (903) 237-1340!
Cheermeister is FREE to attend.
We can’t wait for you to help us spread the cheer!
Please note that regular library services will be unavailable at this time, but facilities will remain open for restroom use
