[ARCHIVED] Run for the Wall – May 17

The 27th Annual Run for the Wall will be at the Longview Exhibit Building on Sunday, May 17, 2015, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. East Texans will have the opportunity to honor veterans and show support for soldiers during the Run for the Wall, Gregg County stopover. This event is dedicated to Prisoners of War (POWs) and those Missing in Action (MIA) and recognizes the sacrifices and contributions made by all veterans who have served our nation. Veterans of recent conflicts and those currently on active duty are especially welcome to join and ride for those who cannot. The mission ride begins in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and culminates with participation in Rolling Thunder's "Ride for Freedom" on their way to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. on May 24, 2015. Arrive early to honor these riders with your flags, friends, and family. Admission is free.
