[ARCHIVED] Longview Police Arrest One Person in Overnight Shooting

On November 16, 2016 at 6:41 p.m., Longview Police were dispatched to the 2500 Block of North Eastman Road for an Unknown Problem called in to 9-1-1. When officers arrived they found two victims, a male and a female, deceased inside the apartment. As the investigation progressed police learned that the suspect, identified as 21 year-old Christopher Marvin Bell II, of Longview, went to an apartment inside the North Huntington Hills Apartment complex. The suspect stated he was there to see his daughter. The suspect then stated he was not allowed inside and went to the back of the apartment. He jumped over the balcony, broke the glass patio door and began to fight with the victim’s. He then took out a handgun and shot both victims. After shooting the victims he fled the scene and contacted Police to turn himself in. The victims have been identified as 41 year-old Freddie Allison and 38 year-old Deandra Allison, both of Longview. Bell was arrested in the parking lot of a store located in the 2100 Block of Estes Parkway. He was transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident and charged with Capital Murder of Multiple Persons.

Bond has been set at $2 million dollars. Bell remains in the Gregg County Jail at this time.
