[ARCHIVED] Local Woman Arrested For Aggravated Kidnapping

 On December 29, 2016 at 6:12 p.m., Longview Police were dispatched to a Robbery in Progress in the 2100 Block of Airline Road.  When officers arrived they were told that the suspect, an older white female, entered the victim's home and kidnapped a 19 year-old white female, at gunpoint. Approximately an hour later the victim was able to escape, contact police and give them her location.  Police responded to the location and found the victim, unharmed.  A short time later police located the suspect and placed her under arrest.  

UPDATE:  Longview Police arrested 57 year-old Nancy Alice Motes, of Kilgore, for the Aggravated Kidnapping of 19 year-old Alexa Evonne Blair, of Longview.  Motes was transported to the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office without incident.  Motes bond has been set at $500,000 and remains in the Rusk County Jail at this time.  Police are still trying to determine a motive for this crime.  Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to contact Detective James Reeves at 903-237-1199.
