It is the intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to provide annual inspections for alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and recharging of fire extinguishers in order to maintain full fire code compliance for City of Longview facilities. Fire extinguishers used in city fleet vehicles are not part of this bid. It is the desire of the City to contract with an experienced and qualified vendor to provide the listed services and equipment stated in the specifications listed below.

Proposals
received in the City Purchasing Office after the submission deadline
will be considered void and unacceptable. The City of Longview is not
responsible for lateness or non-delivery of mail, carrier, etc., and the
date/time stamp in the Purchasing Office will be the official time of
receipt.
