| The objective of this solicitation is to secure the services of a Contractor to provide demolition services and related items including site clearing structures listed in this Invitation to Bid.
Special Instructions: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held June 18, 2020 @ 2:00 p.m. in the Development Services Conference Room, 410 S. High St, Longview, TX. This meeting is to answer questions regarding the bid requirements. Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications and scope of work requirements in this solicitation, attendance at mandatory pre-bid meeting is a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those who are represented at the pre-bid meeting. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting will be evidenced by the representative’s signature on the attendance roster.

Proposals
received in the City Purchasing Office after the submission deadline
will be considered void and unacceptable. The City of Longview is not
responsible for lateness or non-delivery of mail, carrier, etc., and the
date/time stamp in the Purchasing Office will be the official time of
receipt.
