The objective of this solicitation is to secure the services of a Contractor to provide annual demolition services and related items site clearing of various structures throughout City of Longview for an indefinite quantity of structures. Under this award Work shall be authorized subject to funding, up to the contract limit. A maximum of $150,000.00 will be funded by the Development Services Department for removal of sub-standard structures for the first term of this contract, each term thereafter will be determined based on available budgeted funds that are approved by City Council. It is the intent of the City to award by Contract. The City wishes to award this bid to a single contractor for all services listed in this invitation to bid. The City intends to award the contract sought by this Invitation to Bid to the lowest responsive responsible bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the City. The City reserves the right to award or reject any and all bids received, in whole or in part, to waive informality in any bid(s), and to accept the bid which, in its sole discretion, is in the best interest of the City of Longview.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held May 31, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Development Services Conference Room, 410 S. High St, Longview, TX.
Bids will only be accepted from those who are represented at the pre-bid meeting.
Proposals for furnishing the services described herein will be received until 2:00 pm (CDT) on June 7, 2017.

Proposals
received in the City Purchasing Office after the submission deadline
will be considered void and unacceptable. The City of Longview is not
responsible for lateness or non-delivery of mail, carrier, etc., and the
date/time stamp in the Purchasing Office will be the official time of
receipt.
